Parks & Recreation Commission
Mission
To review the parks and recreation facilities of the borough and make recommendations on present and future needs, assist in the preparation of a comprehensive parks and recreation plan and the annual budget, and make recommendations from applications for names of parks and park facilities and placement of memorials and plaques.
Meetings
Meetings are scheduled on the third Monday every month. This information will be routinely updated to reflect any upcoming meetings.
The Parks and Recreation Commission meeting scheduled for Monday, May 16, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. has been CANCELED due to a lack of agenda items.
The next Parks and Recreation Commission meeting is Monday, June 20, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. Alaska at or hosted from the Mona Lisa Drexler Assembly Chambers, 907 Terminal Street, Fairbanks.
