Access to our databases is available through all of our computer terminals. Printing is available.
Our databases may be found here: fnsblibrary.libguides.com/az.php. For remote access at home, please have your FNSB library card barcode number handy, enter the whole number without spaces when prompted. Please note that our temporary eLibrary cards do not grant remote access to our databases. If you’d like to make an appointment to get a “real” library card, please call Circulation at 459-1049.
FNSB Libraries provides public access computers at the Noel Wien Library.
During limited library services due to COVID-19, computer sessions may be reserved via the buttons found above or by calling the Noel Wien Library Reference Desk at 459-1045. Sessions are available from Monday – Friday during the following times:
- Session #1: 10:00am – 11:45am
- Session #2: 12:00pm – 1:45pm
- Session #3: 2:00pm – 3:45pm
- Session #4: 4:00pm – 5:45pm
Patrons are allowed one session per day.
If you are not able to keep your appointment, please call the Noel Wien Library Reference Desk at 459-1045 as soon as possible.
Patrons should leave enough time to gather personal items and vacate the terminal when the session ends in order to allow library staff ample time to disinfect surfaces due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
All terminals have the ability to print with a cost of .10 per page black and white or .50 per page color print.
Microfilm machines are available at the Noel Wien Library in order to fulfill patrons’ research needs. The library is able to email digital scans to patrons.
Due to COVID-19, only Library staff have access to these terminals. Do you have research needs involving microfilm? Let us know! Call the Reference Desk at 459-1047 or use our Book-a-Librarian form to request research assistance. We’re happy to help.
Patrons may scan documents to a USB thumb drive via our RIOCH print/copier machine. Unfortunately, we do not have the capability to email digital scans. USB Drives are available to borrow at the Reference Desk, although we encourage you bring your own to save your documents.
Several accessible and vision assistance computer work stations are available for our patrons. Let us know when making your reservation that you would prefer one of these terminals. Printing is available.
During the Library’s limited services due to the COVID-19 health crisis, wifi is available 24/7 at our facilities at no charge and with no password.
For those wishing to use the Library’s wifi outside of our building, it is recommended to safely park as close to the library buildings as possible without blocking fire lanes, in order to get stronger signal.
